What began as a prayer and a small group of people around a table is becoming a new church on the Eastside of Cincinnati.
For more than a year, we have prayed, prepared, gathered, served, trained, and watched God provide every step of the way. What started with just a handful of families has grown into a launch team of nearly 70 people committed to seeing a healthy, Christ-centered church planted in the West Clermont community.
And now, Cornerstone Church officially launches this Sunday, September 13, at 10:00 AM at Willowville Elementary School!
We believe the Eastside needs churches that make much of Jesus, stand firmly on God's Word, and equip everyday people to follow Christ and make disciples.
That's why Cornerstone exists.
Our mission is simple: to glorify God, lift high the name of Jesus, make disciples, and bring the hope of the gospel to our community.
We want to be a church where people can come as they are, hear the Bible faithfully taught, build genuine relationships, and grow in what it means to follow Jesus.
Over the past year, we have watched God open doors we couldn't have opened ourselves.
He brought together our launch team. He provided financial resources beyond what we imagined. He surrounded us with churches and pastors who have prayed for us, encouraged us, and invested in this work. And He opened the doors for us to gather every Sunday at Willowville Elementary School, right in the heart of the community we feel called to serve.
Willowville is especially meaningful to us because our Lead Pastor, Jacob Kelch, grew up in West Clermont, attended Willowville Elementary as a child, and graduated from Glen Este High School. Years later, God has brought him back home to help plant a church in the same community that helped raise him.
Launch Sunday isn't the finish line. It's the beginning.
Our desire isn't simply to hold a church service every Sunday. We want to see people meet Jesus, families strengthened, believers discipled, children taught God's Word, neighbors loved, and people equipped to take the gospel into their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
Whether you've followed Jesus for decades, haven't been to church in years, are looking for a church home, or are simply curious about Christianity, there is room for you at Cornerstone.
